The Heroes Group Co-Founder, Aubree Rider, was the recipient of the University of Central Florida (UCF) Inaugural 30 Under 30 Awards! This award recognizes outstanding young alumni who continue to “Reach for the Stars” in their professional and personal lives after graduation.
The UCF Alumni Association celebrated the achievements of the recipients and the impact they have made in the areas of business, research, leadership, arts, community, education and philanthropy.
The awardees were chosen based on nominations submitted by fellow Knights, friends, families and co-workers. Aubree Rider was selected as a member of this Inaugural awarded class due to the successes achieved since becoming a member of the alumni family.
Aubree sought to disrupt the way people saw accounting in Orlando, resulting in the launch of The Heroes Group, a new type of accounting firm where businesses have Accounting Sidekicks. Her accounting firm focused on small businesses and startups. Aubree Rider’s consistent curiosity serves her well as The Heroes Group seeks to not only help business owners take control of their finances, but become a resource for growth.
Additionally, award winners were recognized on the field during the UCF homecoming game. The following evening, awardees were celebrated at the Inaugural Awards Dinner as members of university administration, advancement staff, and academic and volunteer leadership gathered in the Grand Ballroom of the UCF Fairwinds Alumni Center.
